Receiving a Quotation

To receive a free quotation, Masterstone requires a scaled or dimensioned drawing including:
∙ Your name, contact details (telephone, fax, e-mail) and site location
∙ The stone selection (granite, marble, engineered stone etc) or price range (low, mid. high range)
∙ The edge thickness (20mm 30mm, 40mm laminated or mitered edge)
∙ The edge profile if you know (arrised, pencil round, bullnosed, mitered etc)
∙ ‘x’ an indication of which edges require polishing (where the edge is not meeting the wall or kitchen panel)
∙ Location of hotplates and sinks
∙ The type of sink or bowl (drop in, under mounted or semi recessed)
∙ Any splash backs required
∙ Any side panels/waterfalls required
∙ Any special requests

*Please note: The position of the joins are determined in conjunction with the selected slabs, they sizes, our perception of suitability and access to the site. However, we always quote on minimum number of joins, the position of joins will be discussed with you on measurement.

This drawing can be faxed, emailed or posted to us at Masterstone. Alternatively, you may personally visit our showroom with your drawing and we can assist you with your kitchen or stone selection, edge finishes etc.

Accepting a quotation, measurement.

Please contact us to schedule a site measure date. Masterstone will then fax or email you an ‘Acceptance form’ To confirm your selections, price quoted and our terms and conditions of sale. This needs to be signed and returned along with a deposit to secure your job into our system.

The day prior to measurement booking you will receive a call from us to confirm the following:
∙ An approximate time that we will arrive.
∙ The cabinets are installed and ready for us.
∙ If under mounted sink or bowl is being used, it should be on site for us to take it back to the factory.
∙ It is much appreciated if the work area is free of clutter so the measurement or template can be made quickly and precisely.

Installation

Installation occurs approximately 5-10 working days after measurement.
You will receive a telephone call prior to you installation booking to confirm the following:
Your sink, hotplate, taps or other appliances we need to incorporate with our work are on site.
The site is accessible to us without disturbing other trades (no tillers or floor sanders working in the same area and its access)
We recommend that your cabinets are clean from any plates, bowls etc to prevent these articles being dirtied or broken.
All installations are performed professionally and includes mounting upon the carcasses, joint marrying and filling, Fixing and final sealing.

Once the installation is completed, you will be presented with a C.O.D. invoice which details the remainder balance of your account. You will also be remanded about care and maintenance for your bench tops which can be downloaded or printed from our website.
